so long as my fear remains uninvestigated, unintegrated, put away in a dark corner where no one ever looks, it feels like easy weapon fodder for me to advance upon you. so long as your fear remains uninvestigated, unintegrated, put away in a dark corner where no one ever looks, it seems like easy weapon fodder for you to advance upon me. 

i don’t trust you because you’re afraid of things. but if it’s any consolation, i don’t trust me because i’m afraid of things, either. 

i can only trust what i excavate inside myself on the other side of fear. 

grab a shovel, we’re going digging.
